Biography

Dr. Smarajit Ghosh is currently serving as a Professor in the Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering Department at Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala. Dr. Ghosh has been awarded Ph.D. (Electrical Engineering) in 2000 from IIT, Kharagpur. Dr. Ghosh has about twenty-four years of teaching and research experience. He has already guided seventeen Ph.D. Thesis (Fifteen as a sole supervisor and two as a co-supervisor). He has authored a number of books as a sole author. His current area of research includes Load flow study, Network Reconfiguration, Energy Management, Soft Computing, HUD, and ANC.
