Biography

Shakti Singh holds B.E. and M.TECH.  degrees in Electrical engineering and Energy Studies from Madan Mohan  Malviya Engineering College, Gorakhpur, and the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi,   respectively. He received his Ph.D. in renewable energy systems from the Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology in April 2017. He is currently working with the Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering Department, Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala since 2009. His research interests include the integration of renewable energy sources in the grid, distributed power generation, and microgrids.  He has more than 21 years of teaching experience and published several papers in national/international conferences and journals of international repute.
