Biography

Dr. Santosh Sonar is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering. He received his Bachelor and Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from National Institute of Technology Durgapur, West Bengal. He has completed his PhD at Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad, Jharkhand in the year 2014.He has joined TU in August 2013. He has nine years of teaching and one year of Industrial experience till June 2019. His main research interests are in the areas of Power Electronics (z-source inverters, ac-ac converters, SMPS Design, PWM Techniques).
