Biography

Amit Kumar received the Ph.D. degree in Power Electronics from Electrical Engineering Department, National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, Odisha in 2019 and M. Tech degree in Power System Engineering (PSE) from Electrical Engineering Department, Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, Burla (Formerly known as UCE Burla) Odisha, India, in 2012. His current research interest includes Direct Power control of AC-DC converter, Development of power converter switching strategies, Application of soft computing techniques to power system and power electronics and Power quality etc. He is active member of IEEE [Membership no. 94114878] and IEEE-IAS, IEEE-IES and IEEE-PES Societies.
