Biography
Arunpreet Kaur is currently working as an Assistant Professor (Research-Contractual-II) in the Department of Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (TIET), Patiala, Punjab since Jan 2025. She has completed her PhD from TIET, Patiala in 2024. Before joining TIET Patiala as a faculty she worked with Baddi University of Emerging Sciences and Technology (BUEST), Baddi (H.P.) as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering from May 2013- July 2015. Before that she worked with CT Institute of Engineering, Management and Technology, CTIEMT, Jalandhar as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering from July 2011- April 2013.
Her research area is power system optimization.

- Ph.D. in Power system optimization from TIET, Patiala in 2024
- M. Tech in Power systems and electric drives from TIET, Patiala in 2011
- B.E. in Electrical and electronics engineering from Punjab technical university, Kapurthala in 2008
